Classes last 4 weeks and meet once per week for 1 1/2 hours; 45 minutes of classroom and 45 minutes of practice.

$195 per class--Members receive 10% off.

Add a hitting league and receive additional 10% off.

Class:  The Battery

The relationship between the pitcher and catcher.

Pitching topics include: rules, types of pitches, pitch grips, pitch uses, pitch locations, sequences, and setting up hitters.

Catching topics include: stances, blocking, pitch calling, and how to be the field commander.

Pitchers and catchers will practice a variety of these topics in our 5000 sq. ft. field house.

Class:  Advanced Concentration & Visualization/Hitting

Relaxation and concentration techniques introduced by Dr. Curt Ickes from Ashland University.  Dr. Ickes has prior success working with the Ashland University and Wooster High School teams.  Classroom topics include: hitting approaches, setting the tempo, identifying pitches, and mechanics of the swing. Students will physically work on: tees, soft toss, live-arm batting practice, hitting approaches, pitch I.D., and proper swing mechanics.

Class:  Catchers

Classroom topics include: reading a hitter's swing, stance & reactions, pitches, framing, bloxking, pitch sequences, game calling, and being the field commander.  Students will physically work on: blocking, framing, and agility.

Class: Agility

Successful techniques used by the pros to improve foot speed and agility.  This is mainly done through drills and physical work.
